IPhone -Best Buy Employee Suspended Indefinitely over Crude iPhone versus Evo Videos

Kansas City, Missouri Best Buy employee, Brian Maupin, was suspended indefinitely for two animated videos that bashed the iPhone 4 and HTC (News - Alert) Evo 4G.

One video depicts a customer looking for the new iPhone (News - Alert) 4 at a store. The sales associate says they're sold out and continually tries to sell the stubborn customer an Evo 4G. After giving several reasons why the Evo is better and crudely puts down the Apple (News - Alert) phone, the iPhone zealot refuses to buy the Evo and still wants the iPhone.
The second video is pretty much a mirrored version of the first. Instead of an iPhone enthusiast, it's an Evo owner trying to fix his "unstable" 4G phone at an apple store. An Apple Store Genius (News - Alert) goes on a rant of how the Evo and Sprint are horrible and that the iPhone is the best smartphone.

The videos collectively racked up more than 3.5 million views on YouTube (News - Alert), making corporate at Best Buy uneasy. This in turn suspended the 25 year old part-time employee with a chance of being fired after more investigation and consideration by Best Buy's HR.
Best Buy apparently can't take cruel humor, but can easily dish it out as well. Best Buy has a new campaign called the "Phone Shame Eliminator" that includes videos and ringtones that humiliates anyone that has a phone that isn't considered a smart phone.

Best Buy could not be immediately reached for comment.
