Sterling Commerce has announced that the Sterling TMS Carrier Mobile App is now available on the App Store. This means shippers and carriers can now use iPhone (News - Alert) to respond to tenders and get real-time shipment.

 

By offering shippers with efficient planning and execution of inbound and outbound transportation processes, Sterling Transportation Management System “TMS” reduces transportation costs and improves customer service.

 

An on-demand solution, it provides features such as transportation planning, shipment execution, financial settlement and tracking visibility

 

With Sterling TMS Carrier Mobile, carriers and shippers gain improved speed and accuracy of shipment status updates, enhanced business performance and improved service levels. Various customers are already working with Sterling TMS Carrier Mobile.

 

Also, by responding to time-sensitive tender requests when away from a computer, carriers can gain more business and carriers can increase shipper satisfaction by enhancing communication through real-time shipment status updates.
