IPhone -Lumber Liquidators Introduce New Floor Finder iPhone App

Lumber Liquidators, a specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in the United States, has reportedly released new iPhone (News - Alert) application called “Floor Finder” that makes the flooring search both convenient and user friendly for iPhone and iPod touch users everywhere.

The company unveiled this new application to help users to get access to nearly 200 digital samples right from their phone at their finger tips. It allows users to view flooring samples right on their handheld screen, that displays variety of species, colors and styles with just a click, without the need for bulky samples that end up being thrown away.

Lumber Liquidators also gives app users flooring specs such as hardness, species and installation info. Additionally, the iPhone version has a “click to call” option to find the lowest price.

Users also have an option to calculate flooring needs by clicking on the ‘Materials Calculator’ feature in the app, which will determine the required product including a waste factor. The app also helps in saving the users’ favorite flooring to a special section. So, even if a flooring project isn’t in the plans for the near future, users can access some of their favorites whenever they are ready to move forward.

Once the user finalizes the type of flooring, the Floor Finder app directs users to the store locator to find the nearest Lumber Liquidators store. In addition to store locations, detailed directions, store hours and contact information are offered.

“We wanted to help people find the perfect floor for their needs,” said Tom Sullivan, founder of Lumber Liquidators. “With this new Floor Finder app, users can really compare a lot of options anywhere they carry their iPhone.”

With more than 180 stores and 150 varieties of flooring, Lumber Liquidators promises to offer the best hardwood and laminate flooring at the lowest prices. And with the new Floor Finder, getting a new floor just got a lot easier-and very fun, says the company.
