The application iPhone users to access to their digital content more easily than ever before, according to the company.
This new feature is compatible with iPhone (

Alert) and iPhone touch (second generation). Users can now back up photos, presentations, documents and music to the SOS Online Backup, and access it through their SOS iPhone client. The SOS iPhone client allows the user to access their digital content stored in the SOS Online Backup.
With SOS Online Backup, users can back-up and store data “in the cloud.” Customer data is stored in the SOS cloud in six different data centers around the world. These centers include the United States, India, Europe and Australia. Apart from simple back up function, the service also provides value added services such as management, access and sharing capabilities.
“These days the traditional idea of ‘going to work’ has transformed from being strapped to a desk into being able to access your network 24/7 through mobile devices,” said Ken Shaw, CTO of SOS Online Backup. “With more and more people working via mobile, there is a strong need to ensure your data is both protected and accessible.”
Apart from the strong sharing capabilities, SOS Online Backup also features local and offsite backup. In addition to the web portal, SOS for iPhone now allows users complete access to their data on demand through the iPhone. SOS for iPhone is currently available on the Apple (

Copernic to introduce a new service called Copernic Online Backup. The new software helps users protect file loss or deletion due to harmful Internet attacks. The two companies aim to help consumers, small businesses, and enterprises to protect their data quickly, easily and inexpensively. This latest technology compresses data using SOS ShrinkRAP delta compression prior to backup.
