Webtrends, an enterprise customer intelligence company,
released its “Analytics 9 Fall 2009” report, which serves marketers, IT professionals, expert analytics users and anyone working within the real-time Web.
The new Webtrends Analytics 9 includes enhancements such as up-to-the-minute analytics. This capability allows users to assess data in real time and compare that with the previous 24-hour period alongside current day and 365-day comparisons.
Another important enhancement includes real-time alerts and notifications when key Web site metrics reach, or fail to reach the pre-determined goals. These real-time alerts can be received in many ways, including via e-mail, RSS feed, SMS, and Twitter Direct Messages.
“With the release of Analytics 9 a mere 3 months ago, Webtrends laid the foundation for how data is consumed and utilized through an innovative new user experience,” said Alex Yoder, CEO, Webtrends, in a statement. “Today's Fall release extends that vision.”
Analytics 9 On-Demand is given a new and professional look, say company officials. Elements that slowed down load times were removed and all data visualization elements including tables, charts, and graphs have been optimized to improve the speed and confidence of data comprehension.
Webtrends Analytics has also pre-announced the availability of an iPhone (

Web has progressed from a single channel to a platform of multi-threaded interactions across multiple domains that is now the norm for top brands, says Yoder. The challenge this poses for business lies in harnessing real-time data to drive business value through action.
The Fall 2009 release of Analytics 9 addresses this opportunity head on with real-time analytics tied to alerts and notifications giving our customers unsurpassed insight into driving immediate actions, Yoder continued.
Webtrends and InetAsia, a leading independent Internet consultancy, announced the launch of a new Web analytics managed service based in Asia-Pacific. The Webtrends Managed Services is reportedly the only platform in the region to offer a proven data collection environment combined with Web analytics, customer reporting, training and digital marketing consulting, company officials said.
