Users can now watch the Big Brother reality show live 24/7 on their iPhones and iPod Touch thanks to the new mobile service
launched by a partnership of ThirdPresence and Finnish broadcaster MTV3.
According to company officials, the most effective TV shows always had the capability to generate attention through word of mouth and traditional advertising models. And now with the advent of broadband internet and the growing trend of streaming video over the internet broadcasters have realized a new method to both promote and take the Big Brother reality show to the customers through 24/7 live video streaming not only over the internet but also to all 3G mobile phones.
Sami Kanninen, product manager WebTV at MTV MEDIA, said that they are excited that Big Brother fans can now use their iPhones and iPod touch to watch the same 24/7 live video feed that is available on their MTV3 Katsomo service on the Web.
Extending the service from Web to mobile allows people to tune in to Big Brother regardless of time or place. The company had to offer the Big Brother online live video service to mobile as easily, securely, reliably and cost-effectively as possible without compromising video quality and that is the reason they chose to use ThirdPresence to power their Big Brother mobile video service.

With mobile phones now are increasingly being used to access video content, this poses certain challenges to broadcasters and media companies. Therefore, by using their mobile video platform, media companies and broadcasters can easily publish their video content to mobiles.
Big Brother 24/7 is available for all iPhone (
