RNK Communications has reportedly
unveiled a new mobile smartphone application that lets users select another U.S. phone number to ring to their cell phone, or any phone they choose. Named MyTempNumber, this application can be downloaded through Apple (

iPhone and iPod touch devices.
With MyTempNumber, customers can choose a temporary phone number in a desired area and any call to that number will be sent to their primary phone. They can quickly and easily add and manage their temporary numbers online, and their current phone service and number will not change.
MyTempNumber is currently awaiting review in the Nokia (

According to the company, this application provides a private, safe and secure means of passing out the telephone number to another number.
“In developing new products and services, RNK has always focused on incorporating next generation innovation into the universally familiar telephone call,” said Richard Koch (

This translates to higher quality service and infinite possibilities for expansion.”
MyTempNumber can be useful in social networking sites where it’s not always safe to give out a real number. The application is available as MTN (

Recently, the company
offered a solution that will enable customers to retain their existing phone number, whether they’re moving two miles or 2,000 miles. For a low monthly rate, RNK now enables customers to port their existing number — from any type of telephony provider. Then, all incoming calls are delivered to that number to any selection of new landline or mobile numbers.
