i-nigma is a comprehensive end-to-end 2D barcode solution which adopts a simple code-creation methodology, campaign management and advanced metrics reporting platform. The company claims it helps mobile operators and media and marketing companies increase their revenue opportunities.
The application offers advanced support to multiple barcode colors and backgrounds and enables enhaced compatibility with Quick Response or ‘OR,’ Data Matrix and 1D EAN13.
Further, the i-nigma 2D barcode application for iPhone features high immunity to angles -- offering a 360 degree reading tilt angle. It enables the users to easily access the mobile internet quickly and easily, with its auto focus and scan mode.
The application doesn’t require users to press or touch iPhone buttons -- they simply point the iPhone at the code and the i-nigma reader scans it to grant them instant Internet access.
In a release, Mendy Mendelsohn, CEO of 3GVision, said with the application, users don’t need to type in long URLs, search by keyword or press iPhone buttons. He added that iPhone users can use it for instant access to news, sports, entertainment and weather information, or to view maps, access music files and videos, or engage in mobile shopping and linking to social networking sites via QR and Data Matrix codes. Users can get the application for free on the iPhone App store.
