The company has also inked a co-marketing deal with NAVTEQ, a global provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, to support the development of the next generation of location-enabled solutions.
DeviceAnywhere Test Center will allow developers of location based services, or “LBS,” and location-aware applications to replicate the GPS location of a device. This will eliminate the need for expensive field trials and significantly reduce time-to-market. DeviceAnywhere said it will enable this feature on additional handsets in the coming months.
“DeviceAnywhere has become the ‘go-to’ solution for the mobile developer community, and through the introduction of this new GPS capability we look forward to working with NAVTEQ to support the creation of the next-generation of location-based products and services for mobile platforms,” Faraz Syed (
