TVGuide.co.uk has launched a free TV listings application for Apple’s iPhone (

Alert). The application will allow users to view TV listings for programs that are on currently and next in one screen. It will also be possible to view full day listings in one screen.
TVGuide.co.uk, the most favorite Interactive Programming Guide in the United Kingdom is run and managed by Imano, the ecommerce and online marketing agency.
According to the CEO of TVGuide.co.uk, Ravi Damani, it is the application’s smart look, when combined with its unique features and simplicity of use that makes it the ideal choice for browsing TV listings. Since the application can be used offline, people will be able to check what's on TV even while on the train home from work. Ravi also added that they believe TVGuide.co.uk is going to be the number one free application on the iPhone in no time. The iPhone version of the website is already available.
The application brings content to the iPhone from the biggest Interactive Programming Guide in UK. The content includes user ratings as well. The Now and Next TV listings are present for more than 400 channels with full data. After the data has been fully loaded, the application will even enable offline navigation through TV listings.
The application has the benefits of extended TVGuide.co.uk information as well. This includes series numbers, episode titles, episode numbers, subtitles and audio described shows. Direct links to BBC iPlayer is also present which allows users to watch popular BBC shows straight from their phone.
