Reputed player in the voice to content messaging market, SpinVox, along with Lincoln, Rhode Island-based nFinity recently announced the launch of the first SpinVox (News - Alert)-enabled application to be made available through Apple App stores.

With SpinVox Application Programming Interface, nFinity has been able to effectively and swiftly bring forward a new feature for its QuickVoice Pro. QuickVoice Pro, released in July 2008, was one of the most successful voice recorders from the nFinity bastion. It raced to the top of the charts and became one of the most sought after products when it was launched through Apple App stores at the time.

With QuickVoice, users can effortlessly record voice notes, reminders, dictations, meetings, interviews, shopping lists, to do lists, lectures, multi-session seminars and so on-the list is endless. By integrating this existing product with the SpinVox API, users can now use their iPhones to record voice messages and use SpinVox to convert this to text and send the same as email to the inbox of the intended user.

SpinVox, when used in conjunction with SpinVox API, enables third parties to come together and develop innovations and expand the Speech 2.0 market. SpinVox have handpicked from among the developers who have expressed an interest in the API, about 20 developers, to be a partner in the innovation programme and these range in applications across business efficiency, personal productivity, gaming, and social networking on the Apple iPhone, Nokia Series 60, and Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows platforms.
