Artificial Life, Inc. is a public U.S. corporation headquartered in Hong Kong, with additional offices in Berlin and Tokyo. It is a service provider of mobile 3G+ technology, mobile participation TV, mobile gaming, content and business applications and provides 2D and 3D multi- and singleplayer rich-media applications for 3G, 3.5G and 4G network-enabled mobile phones.
MobileBooster is built to support iPhone and iPod touch embedded applications with a new extension module, Artificial Life says. The company says that MobileBooster maintains snapshot builds along with change logs for effortless release management during the development and testing phases.
Clients are let to review application and game builds as well as leave comments and feedback through an ad-hoc distribution. They are provided with remote access to the automatically generated site.
The company says that MobileBooster is an applications and games development tool and platform that support mobile operators and carriers, production studios, media companies and mobile aggregators. The Web-based platform organizes and automates build and roll-out management for mobile products by managing and keeping concise records of handsets, operators, and aggregators as well as product and project information.
MobileBooster delivers a centralized repository for storing all mobile builds. Builds cover everything from master or “key” builds, to different grades, right down to individual handset specific ports. Utilizing its handset knowledge base, the platform immediately identifies which handsets are covered by key builds and do not require a specific port.
The company says that the fluid integration of MobileBooster into the development cycle simplifies the management and overhead of maintaining builds and their associated meta information. The platform promotes a standardized development approach which limits errors and ambiguity while increasing efficiency, according to Artificial Life.
According to the company, the extended support to the iPhone and iPod touch platform adds value to this efficient tool. The company is also using the Mobile Booster for all its internal iPhone product developments.
