Version 4.2 of RedHorse CRM has been released by RedHorse Systems. The solution can be now used by road warriors and other remote users to answer an email or reschedule a meeting from the office or the mobile device. Double handling is eliminated as the action will be reflected in both places by the solution.
Remote users can instantly avail updated RedHorse CRM and calendar information via their Android (News - Alert) cell phone or any other mobile platform. A mobile connection with their Gmail account can be used by the users to update the home office. RedHorse CRM allows automatic sync with the latest release of v4.2. This is possible using capabilities built in to the Android phone and other mobile platforms.
In a release, Connie Koch, founder of RedHorse Systems, said, “Be in charge, even when you are out of the office. Now, you can monitor your business at the same time you check the pulse of your customers with in-person visits. The sync feature frees the business traveller from cumbersome laptops, putting essential company resources at their fingertips wherever they are, not just at WiFi (News
- Alert) locations.”
The mobile feature can be used by Android users by only signing up for a Gmail account. Additional setup might be required for other mobile devices.
Team Automation is a Value Added Reseller or VAR of RedHorse Systems. According to Randy Tucker of Team Automation, prospective buyers can now sync their smart phone to RedHorse. They can therefore free themselves from their desk and desktop. Tucker added that his productivity has increased after this change. The mobile phone is used to handle the emails directly. A scheduled activity needs to be changed only one time, instead of the multiple changes required previously.
Tucker said, “Wherever that change is made, it shows up on the company’s system, my desktop, and my handheld, automatically. It is almost embarrassing, but in a very short time I’ve become an iPad addict.”
