SWE Unveils iFresh Rechargeable External Battery for iPhone, iPod and iTouch

SWE Inc. announced the launch of the iFresh rechargeable external battery, an all important accessory for the iPhone (News - Alert) or iTouch.

SWE specializes in the provisioning of specialty electronic, home, fashion, beauty and As Seen on TV products including the AutoChron programmable wall switch timer. SWE’s products have been featured on both HSN and QVC, besides being available at retailers including Target (News - Alert), Lowe’s, Fry’s and Costco.com, according to a release.

Company sources said that iFresh is an Apple (News - Alert) approved accessory suitable for use with the iPhone, iPod and iPod touch. It plugs directly into the 30-pin connector on the device and provides instant power while recharging the device battery.

Also the iFresh features a powerful 2200 mAh battery which can charge to full battery in less than two hours. The product is compatible with iPod, iPod touch, iPhone 3, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and iPad devices.

The device comes with a patented retractor clip which enables the easy removal of the iFresh from the unit after charging is complete, revealed officials.

iFresh is lightweight, weighing just three ounces. This makes it easily portable enclosed safely in a shirt or jacket pocket. It also provides power to Apple devices at anytime. iFresh sports a LED indicator which shows how much power is left in the unit.

The iFresh can be drained and recharged 500 times. Also, it recharges through an included retractable USB cable that connects to any Mac or PC besides being suitable with any car charger that has a USB port.

Officials added that the iFresh benefits all iPhone and iTouch users who travel a lot and need to charge their phones more often to keep them always connected. This eliminates the need to look for a power source to recharge their devices.

In related news, PowerSurvival.com recently announced that a solar charger can keep wireless phones operating while stranded in a car during a snowstorm. The Power Travel Kit includes the Nomad 7-watt foldable solar panel, the Guide 10 rechargeable battery pack and the Rock-Out stereo speakers. The Monocrystalline Solar Panel can charge anything that plugs into a cigarette lighter adapter, as well as the battery pack, speakers and wireless devices like GPS or phones.
