Experian Automotive Intros AutoCheck App for Android and iPhone Users

Experian Automotive has rolled out a new app called “AutoCheck Mobile for Consumer” that offers used car buyers access to AutoCheck vehicle history reports through Android (News - Alert) and iPhone devices.

The new AutoCheck Mobile for Consumer app is currently available for free via online application stores for Android and iPhone (News - Alert) mobile devices. Users can download this app and can later on view the vehicle’s history by entering AutoCheck account log-in information, a vehicle identification number (VIN) or simply use the device’s camera to take a picture of the VIN.

This app can be an ideal source for used car buyers to understand the history of a vehicle, compare it with similar models using AutoCheck Score and have the confidence they are selecting the vehicle that best suits their needs.

Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive said that, “AutoCheck Mobile for Consumer is another way to provide used car buyers with convenient access to the same vehicle history reports relied upon by dealers and auction houses nationwide.”

“When consumers go used car shopping, they typically consider a number of different vehicles before making their final purchase. By making AutoCheck reports available on both leading mobile operating systems, we are ensuring consumers can easily obtain the information they need when they need it most,” Waldron added.

Not only this, consumers even get an option to buy AutoCheck vehicle history reports online. Users need to pay $29.99 for single reports, and a 30-day unlimited report package is available for $44.99. The unlimited package is unique to AutoCheck and allows consumers to freely run the reports they need to find the right vehicle for them.

AutoCheck vehicle history reports enable used car buyers to understand a vehicle’s past, including reported accidents, odometer issues, title brands, frame-damage announcements and other important information.
