Joist Inc., a company designing, developing, and servicing software needs across a variety of platforms, released a new app called, Quid Pro Quo, which allows any estimator to develop and produce professional, estimates with embedded photos while evaluating projects at work locations.

This new app is currently functional on an iPhone (News - Alert), iPad, and iPod Touch and allows every business, of any size to increase its level of professionalism and productivity, according to the company.

The Quid Pro Quo app allows the estimator to customize each quote by adding company logos, attaching pictures or drawings of the potential job and listing specific notes detailing the work required.

Along with this, the estimator can also add any amount of information into the quote about the job itself. This process allows identifying taxable quotient of the item and designating the quantity of the items required. The app also allows the estimator to have multiple jobs listed within the app at the same time.

“This app will allow any business professional to produce a fully customized quote to any potential client right on site,” said Tommy Droste Mobile App Product Manager. “This will allow the estimator a more efficient way to accurately provide both the customer and themselves all the details required for a particular job.”

Quid Pro app is currently available in the Apple App Store for $9.99 and this app currently supports Apple (News - Alert) products, and soon the Android version will be made available, said the company officials.
