Remington Partners with Kadro Solutions for Light-Based Shaving Treatment

Although it’s a man’s world, not many men can escape the daily drudgery of shaving, or even consider the pain of waxing. Men constantly seek alternatives to traditional ways of removing body hair. In fact, women and men always look for new professional quality hair removal at home.

Remington recently partnered with Kadro Solutions to introduce the i-LIGHT Pro mobile application for iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and iPad in conjunction with the U.S. release of Remington i-LIGHT Pro Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal System.

Remington’s advanced light based system gives long-lasting results as Laser or IPL treatments done in a doctor’s office, for a fraction of the cost. With the i-LIGHT Pro, results last six months.

The i-LIGHT Pro mobile application offers customers the convenience to use their iPhone (News - Alert), iPad or Android mobile device to track and manage treatments with the i-LIGHT Pro, the company stated in a press release.

“As we released the i-LIGHT Pro in the U.S., it was important to consider how mobile technology would be a powerful tool for our consumers not only in the initial purchase of the i-LIGHT Pro, but also in its ongoing use," said Ryan Koechel, e-Commerce Manager for Remington.  "Remington is pleased to have a mobile software partner in Kadro. The Kadro Mobile solution has helped us create an engaging mobile consumer experience and their team delivered a high level of technical expertise.”

In 2011, Kadro released its mobile commerce platform with the expansion of its e-commerce capabilities, through their Kadro Merchant integration with eBay (News - Alert) stores. This improved solution assists companies of all sizes to easily create a flexible, robust and scalable e-commerce storefront, tied to their unique online sales and multi-channel strategy.

Kadro Mobile connects brands to buyers with custom configured mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, Android or other applicable devices.
