BioLineRx Releases theIRapp-based Investor Relations iOS App

Biopharmaceutical development organization, BioLineRx, released a free investor relations app for iOS today – available for download in the Apple (News - Alert) App store. Created with theIRapp platform, BioLineRx IR provides users with detailed investor relations information as well as stock quotes and other various info on stocks. Some rich media content is also included in the app, like audio podcasts from the company as well as an archive of press releases and presentations.

With the opportunities created by the exploding popularity of powerful mobile gadgets, companies are always exploring new horizons of content delivery methods and other ways to get their names out there a little more. People want their news and information on the go. The stock markets are a constantly changing industry, and it's a safe bet that those who closely follow their investments aren't going to have the upper hand when relying on conventional methods like waiting for an email, the morning news or even newspapers to deliver their stock information.

Apps like BioLineRx IR allow investors can keep a close eye on stock trends and fluctuations in real time – which means they'll always have the most up-to-date source of information, directly from the company.

Philip Serlin of BioLineRx expressed his enthusiasm while explaining the company's decision to release the app, stating, “We are very excited to have launched the IR app, which we feel will resonate well with our global investor base and offer them real-time access to the most pertinent information on our company's stock. [We] recognize the importance of enabling our shareholders to have instant access to our corporate and stock information. The BioLineRx IR app will prove to be an essential tool to both existing and future shareholders as they monitor our company's progress.”

The integration of press releases, presentations and audio podcasts is also an interesting characteristic of this app. Though it may not apply to a wide range of consumers, close followers of BioLineRx's activity and announcements will have not only stock market information, but also a current newsfeed of what the company is actually doing on a daily basis.

With tool kits like theIRapp popping up left and right, creating an audience-specific application can be done in a timely manner – at much lower rates than it would cost to hire a whole team of developers to design, code and debug an app built from the ground up.
