TicketLeap Brings the Box Office to Apple Users' Fingertips

Chris Stanchak's goal of bringing professional-grade ticketing to small events that are often sidelined by big ticketing companies took a step forward with the release of TicketLeap Anywhere for iOS, an app customized to suit the needs of event organizers at any level.

According to company officials, apart from doing away with traditional box offices and point of sale equipment, event organizers can even print tickets and receipts using an Air Print-capable printer, scan paper and paperless tickets by reading QR codes directly from the attendees’ smartphones and even swipe credit cards.

Organizers can look up orders, input patron data during a sale and sync everything in real-time.

Keith Fitzgerald, chief technology officer at TicketLeap said, in a statement, “TicketLeap Anywhere for iOS pulls from the same inventory as online sales to ensure that the sales inventory is always in sync. The platform is also designed to support numerous entry points at events seamlessly.”

All that is required is a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. The app is now available in the App store as a free download.

In related news, TicketLeap announced that they would be the exclusive ticketing provider for The Dent Schoolhouse, a haunted house attraction that’s received recognition for national excellence from Haunted Attraction Magazine, USA Today, and Forbes.com.
