BatchBlue Software, a leading provider of Web-based CRM software, recently announced the release of the free BatchBook application for iPhone with new features including BatchBook’s contacts, to-do’s, and deals among other functions.
The application was designed to provide on-the-go work flexibility for small businesses and entrepreneurs by keeping regular track of their personal, professional and social networking contacts, as well as sharing information with the rest of the team, anytime, anywhere via their mobile phone.
Similar to the Web-based version of the BatchBook social CRM software application, the mobile iPhone (News - Alert) application provides BatchBook account owners with an iPhone device, an affordable and easy-to-use mobile customer relationship management solution while on the road or in the office. The application is available for download and for all iPhone models running iOS4. Though the application is free, the BatchBook account plan rates start at $9.95 per month.
The iPhone application comes with new specialized features including offline access to BatchBook contacts, to-do’s and deals; ease of navigation; ability to browse, search and edit existing contacts as well as add new people or company to contacts; track conversations including e-mail, social media interactions, and notes from live meetings; make calls or launch Google (News - Alert) maps directly from the contact record, along with viewing their Twitter status and shares directly from their record; enables the user to browse, search, edit and add to the to-do’s list; tags can be added and edited; and the ability to browse, search, edit and create Deals.
Any changes are immediately synced to the user’s BatchBook account, ensuring a well-connected network for businesses, allowing real-time access to crucial business information. To support this launch, BatchBook has started the “Work to Go” photo contest, where on-the-go workers are being encouraged to send in pictures of unusual events, be it at office or someplace scenic. The winner will receive a gift card for a customized iPhone 4, as well as a free-for-life BatchBook account.
“Building professional relationships takes work. The new BatchBook iPhone app assures each person in an organization has the best, most up-to-date information possible to better manage their relationships and keep their conversations going,” said Pamela O’Hara, president of BatchBlue Software. “People everywhere are getting more done in their professional and personal lives from their mobile phones, and it is reflected in our customer base; an iPhone application has been the No. 1 request for the past year. The launch of the BatchBook app is another move in line with our company’s mission of providing growing businesses with tools to make them more efficient.”Carolyn John is a Contributor to TMCnet.
