TVF, Inc. Introduces HDMI WiFi Stick & TV Controller App at 2013 International CES
LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--
TVF, Inc. rolls out the HDMI WiFi (News - Alert) stick and TV controller app to the US
market today. TVF, Inc. is in CES
Booth #74108 in the Eureka Park TechZone, on the 3rd
level at the Venetian.
This cutting edge technology, from Japan, allows content providers to
offer wireless, digital TV content delivery to their customers, through
a full-featured HDMI WiFi stick. The stick works with today's existing
digital TV's, and basic WiFi, no need for upgrade. It plugs into the
HDI port, and is powered through the USB port. Its built-in
accelerator, for common video codecs and encryptions, supports up to
1080p HD without encumbering the CPU.
Delivery is only part of the story. Once a user receives the stick by
mail, and downloads the accompanying App, they turn their Android
device, iPad, or iPhone (News - Alert) into a WiFi remote controller for viewing live
TV from cable providers and video contents from video content providers.
TVF's patent-pending technology eliminates latency, and works with any
type of content designed or repurposed for the TV experience, including
HD movies, photo slideshows, eBooks and games.
"TVF is already in production. We rolled out this technology with the
largest video content provider and mobile carrier in Japan," said Toru
Sakurai, founder and chairman of TVF, Inc. "We want to build on our
early success in Japan by expanding into the larger US market this year.
The TVF experience will totally transform how Americans experience TV."
