Treemo Labs' New Appafolio Premium Versions Turn Photo Collections and Business Presentations into Interactive iOS Apps

Treemo Labs today announced the release of the premium versions of its Appafolio iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) portfolio application creation platform. The new versions are designed for businesses and creative professionals that want to turn their portfolios, product brochures and presentations into their own branded iPad and iPhone apps complete with e-commerce capabilities. Appafolio Biz and Appafolio Plus, both available now, also include a new patent pending "beam" feature that enables users to send their work to other iOS devices directly (device to device) using an open Wi-Fi connection. This new feature, which is still in beta, makes Appafolio the only app of its kind to offer this capability.

All versions of Appafolio providea platform that enables users to build custom iPad/iPhone portfolio apps, or "Appafolios." Users create their own unique screens, titles and graphics, or choose from pre-formatted templates, then upload and arrange images and videos and add text. Images are cached within the app, and videos are cached to the device for offline viewing, so an Internet connection is not required to view pictures and videos.

Appafolio Plus, available on a $5 per month subscription basis, allows for the creation of up to five unique folios, provides access to viewership analytics, and enables the inclusion of e-commerce links so viewers can make purchases directly within the app to their existing e-commerce enabled web site.

Appafolio Biz, available on a $99.99 per month, enables users to create up to ten folios, and guides them to submit one to the Apple AppStore as its own freestanding app. An Apple iOS developer account is required by each user.
