Apple's iPhone Arriving In South Korea This Week (AAPL,KTC)

11/23/2009 - Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone is coming to South Korea this week, bringing the iconic communications device to one of the most sophisticated mobile phone markets, according to an AP report, which cited a local carrier's announcement. Spokeswoman Alice Park said that KT Corp. (NYSE:KTC) began accepting orders for the iPhone Sunday and service will start November 28. CEO of KT's personal customer group Kim Woo-sik said in a press release, "We are thrilled to bring iPhone to South Korea. Our customers will enjoy the power and benefits of using the revolutionary iPhone on KT's 3G network."
