LG introduces LG X120 netbook in USA
(Worldwide Computer Products News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mobile communication and information company LG Electronics MobileComm USA Inc (LG Mobile Phones) announced on Monday the newest addition to its product line-up with the launch of the LG X120 netbook.
According to the company, the device weighs 2.8lbs and combines the computing power of a laptop with the freedom of a mobile device. It is equipped with a SmartOn interface that rapidly loads, connecting to web and photos, instant messaging and MP3 player with a touch of a button. The product also delivers 7 hours of battery life and built-in AT&T 3G wireless connectivity.
The netbook also features 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive, a 10.1" screen with LED backlighting, a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera and HD stereo speakers.
In addition, the device includes a traditional start up feature booting the complete Windows XP Operating system, while 3G HSDPA provides on-the-go connectivity.
The LG netbook will be available at select Radio Shack stores across the USA and online at http://www.RadioShack.com for USD179.99 with a 2-year AT&T DataConnect service agreement, a USD60 monthly 5GB plan. AT&T DataConnect subscribers also receive access to AT&T Wi-Fi service, which includes over 20,000 hot-spots across the US.
